Letter 10 of 3 part B
Ok, so here's a story I think you'll appreciate. You know how G is a hypervigilent half-demigod with nerves of steel, next to impossible to scare and even less likely to show it even if you succeed? Well, J was going into the shipping area at work with G on his heels. G suddenly remembered something he had forgotten back in the warehouse and went back. J saw an opportunity and slipped into the closet under the stairs, kept the light off, but left the door open assuming that G would pass by and close the door. A minute later G passed through, saw the open door and went to close it. J pounced on the moment and gave a shout. He startled G pretty well. Neither of them realized just how good of a scare it was until a couple minutes later when G started rubbing his hand as a pain got worse and worse. G' reflexes were so fast that he didn't realize his hand had shot out, smacked the door knob pretty hard, and returned to his side. We laughed and laughed.
Love,
Dad
