Yesterday as I was running errands, a BYU devotional came on as it always does on Tuesdays at 11. The one being broadcast was from January 20, 2015 by Todd Parker. It caught my attention so that though I was unable to finish listening at the moment, I came home and listened to it while I did other chores. Then I listened to it again. And again. And I shared it.
I can add my testimony to the power of the word of God. It strengthens me. It really is as is Lehi saw in his dream, the guiding rod which leads to God. And only those who cling to it are able to stay on the path that leads to eternal life.
We live in times of quick-shifting ideals and percetptions. But we have many assessable witnesses to Jesus Christ. He is constant and quick to save.
I printed off the talk and sent it this week to Riley.
