Yellow advanced

I guess it's been a busy couple of weeks! Parker advanced a belt in Taekwando so he's now a yellow advanced.

Dave sometimes feels that we are spending too much on this sport and he has not been as enthusiastic about Parker doing it as I have been. One day right before belt testing, I had too many pots cooking and asked Dave to pick Parker up from the studio for me. When they walked in Dave was teary. He said watching Parker with his focused, determined, precise energy caused a joy to well up inside of him. Dave tied the new belt at the graduation and Parker was surprised when Dave tied it correctly without instruction.
